What you'll do:
As a Board Member, you'll play a vital role in shaping Ascenda's strategic direction and ensuring its long-term sustainability. Responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning: Contributing to the development and implementation of Ascenda's strategic plan.
Financial Oversight: Reviewing financial statements, approving budgets, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
Policy Development: Participating in the development and review of organizational policies.
Community Engagement: Serving as an ambassador for Ascenda and promoting our mission within the community.
Fundraising & Resource Development: Supporting Ascenda's fundraising efforts.
You'll collaborate with fellow board members, our CEO, and our dedicated staff to ensure Ascenda continues to thrive and expand its impact.
