We achieve this by providing comprehensive transition services, including independent living support, career training, and social skills development, empowering individuals to achieve independence, contribute meaningfully, and experience a sense of belonging.

What’s in the Works
Ascenda Foundation is excited to expand our services with the development of residential and community living programs. We envision creating more than just a place to live: we aim to build vibrant, inclusive communities where individuals feel a sense of belonging, safety, and opportunity. These spaces will be thoughtfully designed to support independent living while fostering social connections and personal development.
Our upcoming residential programs will include tailored supports that help residents thrive, from daily life skills training to job readiness and health-focused activities. Our goal is to create environments where residents can pursue their aspirations, enjoy fulfilling relationships, and engage with their communities in meaningful ways.
By combining our existing offerings (such as career preparation, creative arts, and social skills support) with these new initiatives, Ascenda Foundation is setting the stage for a future where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities can live, work, and thrive as valued members of society.
